Letter from the CEO

The past six months have tested Canurta in important ways — from strengthening our public-company readiness to building real commercial traction through Canurta Naturals USA.

We are now nearing completion of our 2024 audit, advancing work on 2025, and preparing for a broader U.S. launch of Dual Relief Drops™. The lessons have been significant, but so has the progress.

Akeem reflects on the challenges, accountability, and conviction guiding Canurta into its next phase.

PolyKye Products Are Coming Soon

We are getting closer to the launch of the first PolyKye products.

Developed through Canurta’s approach to botanical research and product innovation, the PolyKye range will bring our science into practical formats designed to support everyday wellness. More product details, launch dates and ordering information will be shared soon.

Strengthening Investment Readiness with Foresight

Canurta Therapeutics has completed investment-readiness training through Foresight, strengthening how our team prepares for investor engagement and future capital raises.

The training helped us sharpen Canurta’s investment case, financial narrative and fundraising strategy. It also strengthened our approach to communicating growth plans, preparing for due diligence and connecting capital requirements with clear business milestones.

These tools will support more focused investor conversations as Canurta advances its products and research programs.

Accepted into the Fundable Founders Learning Lab

Canurta has been accepted into Pharrell Williams’ Black Ambition 2026 Fundable Founders Learning Lab.

The program brings together bold Black and Hispanic founders who are building companies with the potential to create lasting impact. Participation will provide valuable opportunities to refine our growth strategy, strengthen our funding readiness and learn alongside an ambitious founder community.

New Research on Hemp Flavonoids and Cartilage Health

A new Canurta-supported study from researchers at the University of Guelph found that a hemp polyphenol extract rich in flavonoids may help reduce inflammatory markers, support pro-resolving pathways, and preserve cartilage structure in a laboratory model.

The findings provide a foundation for further research into how hemp-derived compounds may support cartilage health across multiple biological pathways.

Building on Our Research Findings

Canurta, in collaboration with the University of Guelph, has applied to Ontario Genomics’ Genomic Applications Partnership Program for 2025–2028. If selected, the project would use genomics to deepen our understanding of promising botanical compounds and support future therapeutic and product development.
