Canurta Presents at the Polyphenols Applications World Congress Conference

On September 29, 2022, Akeem Gardner presented at the 15th Polyphenols Applications World Congress Conference in Spain on how Canurta's novel polyphenol solutions can help tackle Glioblastoma, the most common and aggressive type of brain cancer affecting thousands annually. Overall it was an excellent presentation that was well received by all stakeholders.

We are looking forward to participating in the upcoming Canna Pharma conference, which will take place on October 12-13, 2022, where we will present two abstracts: the first on Glioblastoma and the second on the new science from our research collaboration with Applied Pharmaceutical Innovations at University of Alberta.

Canurta's CEO and Founder, Joins Cohort V of the adMare Academy Executive Institute

We are excited to share that our CEO and Founder, Akeem Gardner, has been selected as one of the 20 executives to participate in Cohort V of the adMare Academy Executive Institute. Participation in the program provides the unique opportunity to learn from other leaders in the industry and learn from their experiences specific to the Canadian life science ecosystem. The program kicks off in November in Montreal, Quebec.

Canurta Announces Participation in the Accelerator Centre's AC: Studio program

We are thrilled to announce that we have been selected as one of the 100 high-impact startups to participate in the first cohort of an innovative, new regional hybrid venture studio program, AC: Studio.

As a brief overview: this new innovative program was launched in June 2022 with $10M in funding support from FedDev Ontario. The Accelerator Centre, via the AC: Studio, will work with the selected companies to provide up to $100,000 in critical seed funding, mentorship, and tactical support delivered through its ecosystem partnerships.

We look forward to seizing the mentorship and tactical support opportunities.

Canurta Exhibits at the Canadian Health Food Association Tradeshow

On September 17-18, 2022, Canurta exhibited at the Canadian Health Food Association's Tradeshow at Enercare Centre in Toronto. The Canadian Health Food Association is Canada's largest trade association committed to natural health and organic products.

At the tradeshow, stakeholders learned about our groundbreaking and high-performance ingredients that can be used as stand-alone or complementary ingredients in broader formulations and how they can be implemented in other brands.
